Hi Walter,

What did you think about the demo of Dirk Mellemans? Would you rate him as a professional or an amateur?

I just want to know if it would be interesting to take classes of him.

Well, the answer is yes. It depends on where YOU are in your bonsai career.
What is a professional anyay? I am an amateur if you consider a few things. Well, an amateur who tries to work professionally. If I am an amateur, then Dirk certainly is one too. But one can learn a lot from him, I am sure.
