Intern. Bonsai Academy in Harrisburg 2013 #1

At Nature's Way Nursery In Harrisburg, Pa The international Bonsai Academy took place from Dec. 6 to 8, 2013. It was the traditional 'Winter with Walter and Jim'. 22 students came this time and apparently had fun and learned a lot under teh leadership of Jim Dolye and Walter Pall. We worked with the great collected material that Nature's way Nursery is famous for. More than 400 collected trees were available there: Rocky Mountain junipers, Ponderosa pines, limber pines, Engelmann spruce, Douglas firs and others. Some brought trees from their own collections. This seminar is different from others as participants work on trees which they don't own. It is a great opportunity to put your hand on sometimes even world class material. In three days abut 40 trees were handled by the students. We had folks come from Canada, Maine, Colorado, Florida and many closer places.
