Jim Doyle did an intensive on maples as part of the program. He used several Japanese maples KIOHIME as examples. Students then could edit some too. there will be about 20 of these available in April at Nature's Way Nursery. As one can see the stumps have enormous potential. Within three years they can be grown into spectacular big bonsai.

This is a very old Rocky Mountain Juniper, Juniperus scopulorum, that Jim and WP worked on to demonstrate how such material is brought one step further. This as the majority of all collected trees there is for sale.

Here just a few examples of over 150 collected trees which are available at Nature's Way Nursery. The participants of the Bonsai Academy can work on these trees over the weekend and/or bring their own.
