Biltmore Castle in Asheville, NC

This castle was built around 1880 in the Victorian Style, appearing like a couple hundred years older than it really is. Similar to this around 1870 the famous castle of King Ludwig II of Bavaria was built to look like 800 years older. This is called Historicism and it is a period in art that is generally frowned upon. Almost every detail in these castles is a fake. But altogether they both are a great piece of art. Similar to the Bavarian castle the Asheville castle is visited by millions. I had the privilege to spend a day there. Life is good to me.
