Visit to Mauro Stemberger

Yesterday Alex and I went to see Mauro Stemberger in Feltre, Italy. Mauro has this stunning collection which is well one of the best collections in Europe. Unfortunately the trees are cramped into this small area and it is not possible to really take good photographs. Anyway, one can get a feeling what sort of hammer-trees Mauro has got there. He also has an enormous collection of raw material. This man will never run out of great trees.
On the way beck we went over one of the hundred mountain passes in the Dolomites. The whole day will be unforgettable.
