Robert Barth, the king of black pines

Robert Barth from Germany is the guy who has the most collected European black pines, Pinus nigra Asutriaca that I know of. Although this is a typical tree for Italy, South-East Europe and Southern France he seems to have more of these than the rest of Europe together. This kind of tree takes ages until it is presentable. Ten years is nothing. It takes twenty years before one is really show ready. But it pays, as one can see.
