Huge Carpinus orientalis. All pots were too small. So I will have to find the right pot for next time. It was decided to plant the tree into a box that is the size of the future pot to be found. As soon as the pot is here we just pull the tree out of the box and set it into the pot with intact root ball. Transplanting at this time of the year is NOT a good idea for most areas. In this specific area there is never frost. So repotting and collecting in winter is a good idea.
