Jim Doyle at Enrico Savini's place

Enrico Savini has this stupendous collection of world class trees in a large garden north of Bologna, Italy. See what he does with some trees which were already exhibited in the Kokufu Ten and which are now in Europe. Most trees, however, were collected in Europe. Enrico wants to work with the very best only. It seems that he won't do it below world class and 'winner of show'. He is only 34 years old and studied with many masters a bit - altogether he is self taught and did not even make it to Japan yet. The collection is not so numerous, but the quality is stupendous. Enrico owns many international award winners and 'best of show'.
