Bonsai Mirai near Portland

During my work at the Artisans Cup 2015 I also had the opportunity to visit Ryan Neil's by now world famus garden near Portland, Oregon. What a great garden! Endless world class trees finished or in the making. Unbeatable already, I think. What will this be in twenty years from now? Bonsai Heaven.

    Do you know what species is in photo 14 (group planting on rock)? I can't quite make out the foliage well enough to tell...maybe hemlock?

    The trees on the rock are medico cypress I believe. It is a somewhat rare tree from the western pacific coast of N America.
