We spent two days in the marshlands of Ibera. This is a huge natural resort in the northeast of Argentina. The impressions are enormous. One can see how wilderness looked like a few hundred years ago. The trips were by boat in the lagoon and by foot into the jungle.
It gave me sentimental feelings to see tha aquarium plants and fish of my eaely youth in their natural habitat. I wanted to become an explorer of the South American marshlands at that time.
Bravo, Walter!
ReplyDeleteExcellent pictures, and what a treat to the eyes. You might as well can do a cover story on the tropical wetlands of Argentina in the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC!
No joke, I honestly mean it.
The Bromiliads, Duranta and wildlife pictures are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
